Our new site is dedicated to students who wish to take, practical courses in specialist makeup. Special Effects/Casualty makeup (SFX) - Fantasy Body Painting Avant garde (FBP) - Bridal Avant Garde makeup (BM) - Pre Makeup Artist Training (PMA) - Period Wigs & Hair (PWH) and Portfolio Building which is a requirement for entry into colleges like London College of Fashion. These are highly specialised makeup courses taught by skilled professional makeup artists who work within the TV/Film - Fashion - Theatrical and Corporate industries. These courses are unique and are the first of their kind, as they offer practical experience and knowledge, together with work experience to our students.

Blazing Sables web site is NOT your everyday site offering the normal makeup courses that you can learn anywhere.... These courses are specialised in their field and available to students who wish to become Makeup Artists, or the freelance individual who has an interest in this very lucrative type of makeup application, as an extention of their existing business, or as a new independent business. 

Before you decide if my courses are right for you, do some research to find a 6 week practical course in the above subjects. You will not find a Pre Makeup Artist course or a Portfolio Building Makeup course anywhere, because it is unique to Blazing Sables. The syllabus for these courses are copyrighted to Stella Photis, owner of Blazing Sables. Specially designed to help Students achieve the practical skills, knowledge, experience and a portfolio, before they enter college. As a makeup artist for 23 years, Stella truly believes that students should enter college already armed with practical knowledge & experience because there is very little time allocated to the practical side of makeup artistry, as a huge amount of a students time is taken up with, theory, research, project work and exams. Stella says "Learn the knowledge first, then use your training college to perfect your skills, for better exam results and to give you the edge over your fellow students (your future competition)."
